Native of Corpus Christi - I have lived in the Corpus Christi , Texas all my life, with the exception of attending Texas A&M University College Station and then working as an engineer in Houston, Texas.

Married - I met my beautiful and loving wife, Pam, while attending Texas A&M University and have been married for 24 years.

Two kids - We have two great kids. My Daughter attends University of Texas and my son attends Ray High School (Corpus Christi Independent School District)

Sports - I enjoy running, surfing, hunting and fishing.

Music - I enjoy music and arts. Growing up in South Texas I enjoyed and still enjoy country music and doing the two step.  I have, over the years, grown to appreciate opera and have attended over 50 Operas. I support Public Radio and admire their support of classical music. I addition, I really enjoy our local Public Radio Station, KEDT, and their Latin, jazz , opera and blues programming.

Faith - Our faith community is important to me. I grew up at Saint Pius Church where my Father still attends. I have been active in the church community at First Christian Church and now at All Saints Church. I feel that it is important to raise families and live in the Spiritual awareness of God.
